Spanish Omelette

Ingredients.

6 medium potatoes (500g.).

4 eggs.

Olive oil (300 cl.).

SaL.

How to cook.

1) Clean and peel the potatoes.

2) Cut them into thin slides or dice them.

3) Heat the olive oil in a deep frying pan (medium flame).

4) Add the potatoes to the frying pan, slowly, and fry them on a low flame. They were ready when they are soft and golden.

5) Remove the chips from the frying pan to a plate with paper towels.

6) Add salt to the liking of you.

7) The eggs must be broken and whipped in a big and deep bowl.

8) When it is ready, add the potatoes and mix all together.

Settle during 10 minutes at least.

9) Taste the salt and add more if you want.

10) Cover the bottom of the frying pan with olive oil and heat it in medium flame. When the oil was hot, add the mix and fry it during two 3 minutes.

11) Cover the frying pan with a big and little bit deep plate, and turn round it.

12) Add oil to the frying span and heat it before add the omelette with the cooked side facing up.

13) Fry it during 3 minutes.

14) Remove it, your Spanish omelette it is ready.

Knacks and advices.

The pieces must be little to the potatoes could be fried mush better.

The Spanish Omelette will be better if you use fresh products.

When you turn round the omelette, do it with trust. Practice!!

When you are frying the mix, shake slowly the frying span like you are drawing little circunferences

You can eat it hot and cold. In the first case, add mayonnaise, and in the second one, try it with tomato sauce.

Spain is diferent!!

Many people have asked me what is the best Spanish restaurant or if there is someone good especially. My answer is always the same: no, anyone is a real Spanish restaurant.
I was chatting with others Spanish people who are or have been living in London in the last weekend. All of them thought like me.

The Spanish cooking has a high quality and diversity. Spain is one of the most important exporting of non manufactured food. If you want to check it, go to any supermarket and check the fruit and vegetable origin. But these products are not fresh, or the Spanish people do not think that they are. Any good cooker knows that the main thing of a good mail is product which you choose to cook it. In Spain the majority of good restaurant buy the product every day. And if you want to "taste the different", you might go to any little Spanish town. There, the products come directly from the land to your meal. To me, this is the real different.

Anyway, this is not the only reason. In Spain the food and to eat it is one of the most important traditions. In fact, sometimes, it is not only important the way to cook a meal; it is much important the way to eat that meal. For example, I can cook a good Spanish omelette and we can eat it here. But the best Spanish omelette that any Spanish person has eaten in his live is cooking to his/her mother, father, grandmother, … To eat is one important part of Spanish culture, you can not separate it from the family, friends, weather, seasons and much more important things.
If you want to taste the real Spanish food, the Spanish people are such important than the quality of food.

All Chinese Restaurants In China Town

I have been to China town twice this week and try to find all the Chinese restaurants here
Now let me show you my photos. If i have enough time and money i will go back again and try every one of them.

Origin of Peppery Chicken (3)

Sichuan, a province of China, had various kinds of rates and the peppery chicken was one of them.

At this morning, Hopple felt not very good: "oh, jerny, it seems the eggshell is going to break soon."
"Come on, baby, are you kidding?" Jerny was worried.
"Please, am I looking like kidding?" Hopple was a little impatient.
"Well, we must find a safe place first." Jerny replied and took Hopple to a piece of vacant area.
Later, Hopple had become a chicken, a real chicken.
"Now, I am not an egg any longer. Oh, what about you? When will you become?" Hopple asked.
"Don’t worry, pretty soon!" Jerny assured.
"Bang!" Jerny became, too.
"Great, let’s start our real life." Hopple said very happy.
"But we must find your parents first." Jerny was not very exciting apparently.

From one place to another, they heard most was about "peppery chicken" and they didn’t know what did that mean. It was no doubt that if they hadn’t met a man, they would have had more happier life. The man they met was a crazy chicken, whose name was killer.
"You say you come here just for finding your parents?" Killer said.
"Yes, we have gone many places but there is no result." Hopple was felling a little disappointed.
"What?" Killer laughed and continued: "I make sure you will not find your families, never!"
"Why did you say so?" Hopple was at a mass.
"Well, could you tell me first what’s this?" Killer pointed a scar on Hopple’s shoulder.
"I don’t know, I have had it since I was born." Hopple replied.
"All right, if my memories come truly, I have seen it before you coming here, in another chicken who has a similar one scar on her shoulder, too"
"Really? Where is she?" Hopple asked.
"Calm down, Hopple, he must know the truce, don’t worry." Jerny reassured.

"She is a chef?" Jerny asked.

"Yes, we do. What’s that mean?" Jerny asked.

Now that's talk about some Chinese restaurants , Mr Steve tell me that there are 4 Chinese restaurants near by London Metropolitan University . I have not enough time and also money to try all of it , so I chose two of them to introduce .

Beef Chow Fun

Raw materials :
Hefen, beef, , salt, sugar, Laochou MSG, oyster sauce, onion, peanut oil, eggs, starch, soy sauce, cooking wine by adequate.

Production :
1, beef slices, plus eggs, starch, soy sauce Sizing , onion Cutter.
2, 30% to 40% burn hot pan oiling, beef slip under heat, remove reserve.
3, Tim another pot of water boiling, all under the Hefen .
4, Put Heat stay , silk under onion soup, cooked cooking wine, sugar, Laochou MSG, oyster sauce, beef, Hefen, top Stir in uniform.

Origin of Peppery Chicken (2)

With the full hope of looking for families, the two eggs were starting a long and arduous navigation.

When the sun raised in the morning, they had been a place where was packed with people that they had never seen.
Hopple whispered: "O-H, what are these? So big and strange, they are so much different from us. "
Jerny claimed:" that’s because they had grown, when they were child, they were the same as us."
Hopple annoyed with an unbelievable gleam:" yes?"

At this time, Jerny noticed that there were many chicken photos window-showed on restaurant’s doors,:" hey, look ! Chickens, let’s get into it, I doubt we could find something here." Hopple followed with a very big smile on her face.

"Be careful, the monsters!" Jerny said and took Hopple run along to the backyard where they met chickens. "hey, who are you?" asked by a leader of chickens, Hopple excited and repeated:" family, family, family…"

"what did you say?" the leader suspected.
"I’m sorry, sir! You must be the president here, and you must know where my parents are, right?" Hopple said in one breath.
"Your parents? Who are they? "
"Chickens, sir!" Jerny answered.

"Yes?! There are a lot of chickens here! If you don’t tell me the details I can’t help you."
"Actually, we don’t really know it clearly…"said Hopple.

"Ah, that’s serious trouble, you know? There are at least one thousand groups all over the world, and each group has at least one hundred members…"
"It doesn’t matter, sir! I will try, regardless!" Hopple interrupted.

"Ah, in that case, I will tell you where our groups are!" the leader said friendly and pointed a map on the table. "our groups are mainly in these places which are called Si Chuan, Hu Nan, Gui Zhou by people..."

Origin of Peppery Chicken (1)

One day, two eggs were talking about where they were from.

One egg who always be called Hopple said: "oh, I think this is a simple question, we, of course, come from chickens!"
The other egg, people called him by his name Jerny, admitted without thinking:" yes, that is no doubt, but where are chickens from?"
Hopple thought a while:" certainly, they come from their parents."
Jerny continued:" who are they ? They are eggs, right?"

Chinese Food in London ( 1 )

There are a very deep impression that people who have lived in London , the city London as international metropolis, the field of catering are also very internationalization, especially French style , intention style , Chinese style , India style are meet people`s eyes everywhere.

Having settling in United Kingdom at present , half of them living in London. The people who has among them being commensurate to quantity is engaged in a catering job. So you are not very difficult to understand that why there are so many Chinese Restaurants in London.

Most of the Chinese restaurants are to come untied by Chinese who comes from Hong Kong , Malaysia and Singaporean mainly .It is just because of the eatery boss is mostly comes from Hong Kong , Malaysia , Singaporean Chinese in London that the most Chinese food is a Guangdong dish (a province of China)Guangdong local flavour.

Generally speaking , the restaurants are opened by Chinese in western usually appropriate the taste considering the native , flavour insists to sweet,unable very salty , little monosodium glutamate , even though no monosodium glutamate . but if Chinese food appropriate the taste considering the indigenes much is extremely not pure Chinese food .

Sweet Dumpling

Sweet dumplings are one of the snacks with long history in China,which start at song dynasty.

At that time, there was a tidal current to eat unusual food everywhere, therefore, people started to make a kind of food which was ball-like outside and had various fruit bait inside.After cooking, it tasted sweet and delicious. At the earliest time, it was called "fuyuanzi" because it was floating and sinking when cooked in the pot, afterwards, some region changed it as sweet dumpling.

Nowadays, it is thought that sweet dumplings are pronouns of a kind of being together most of time, especially in the Lantern Festival which starts on 15, January every year. Basically, it is more like the mid-Autumn Day when everyone could eat moon cakes that day.What's the differences between these two festivals are in the Lantern Festival each family would eat the sweet dumplings, watch the festive lanterns or the program planned especially for the day, and have something fun, for example, letting off firecrackers. Therefore, it is a little more grand than the Mid-autumn Day.

There is a song that has spread for many years, which is described like this: come on, come on, come to buy the sweet dumplings of little brother, whose dumplings are more round and dilicious, come on, come on, come to buy the sweet dumplings, they sold only 3p..., they can also stop hungry as meals...

As everyone known in China, the sweet dumplings are one of snacks, however, as a kind of culture, it would be speaded to all over the world, because eating itself is a enjoyable thing for everybody.

Why I like the sweet dumplings is not only because they are delicious, but also the shape of them ---"Round"!

I mean we can describe the world in this word-"circle". For example, when we were born, we say that is the beginning of our life, just like a point. As everyone known, when the circle is becoming the minimum, it is the point.

With growing up, our parents come to our life first, making the point a little bigger, and then, relatives, classmates, friends, partners or something like that, all of this make the point (circle) bigger and bigger. So we say, our life is a circle where ourselves are in the center of it. Actually, it is mostly like the transmigration which is from the saying of Buddhist in China. Anyway, it is a good word for me, round sweet dumplings and satisfactory life.

Fish-Flavored Shredded Pork

Ingredients:
150 g Pork, shredded
30 g Black fungus, soaked
20 g Bell pepper, shredded
30 g Carrot, shredded
2 tbsp Salad oil
1 stalk Green onion, shredded
2 cloves Garlic
10 g Pickled chilli
10 g Ginger
Marinade:
1/4 tsp Chicken powder
1/2 tsp Cornstarch
1/3 tsp Salad oil
Sauce:
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Chicken powder
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Vinegar
1 tsp Light soya sauce
1 tbsp Starchy solution
Method:
1.Mix the pork shreds with the marinade and let stand for about 15 minutes. Mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
2.Soak the black fungus and shred thinly. Finely chop ginger, onion and pickled chilli.
3.Heat up a skillet with oil, adding pork. Stir until almost cooked. Add in chopped ginger, onion and pickled chilli until fragrant. Add in black fungus, bell pepper and carrots. Pour in the prepared sauce. Stir until well-combined and dish off.
